Helping Hands Moving & More LLC – Scheduling & Booking Policies:

At Helping Hands, we keep things easy, affordable, and stress-free—from booking to move day. Please review our policies below so we’re all on the same page!

Booking:

  • We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Same-day or next-day moves are available when possible ( a $25 rush fee will apply).

  • A $20 deposit is required to reserve your appointment. This will be applied to your final total.

Arrival Time:

  • Your move will be scheduled within a 2-hour arrival window (e.g., 8am–10am).

  • We’ll send a text or call 30–60 minutes before arrival.

Rescheduling

  • Reschedule your move up to 24 hours in advance at no charge.

  • Less than 24 hours? A small rescheduling fee may apply.

Cancellations:

  • Cancel 48+ hours ahead: full deposit refund.

  • Canceling within 24–48 hours: deposit may be non-refundable.

  • Same-day cancellation: you forfeit your $20 deposit & will be charged an additional $20 cancellation fee.

Minimum Time:

  • All moves (except for quick moves & non-moving services) have a 2-hour minimum, regardless of how long the job takes.

Delays & Wait Time:

  • If you’re not ready when we arrive, we allow up to 30 minutes of wait time. After that, we may charge a $60 wait fee or reschedule your appointment time.

Weather:

  • We move in most weather. If it’s unsafe, we’ll contact you to reschedule.

No-Shows:

  • If no one is present within 30 minutes of our arrival & we can’t reach you, we reserve the right to cancel and charge a $60 no show fee.
